Sun, Sea & Sand

Ingredients for the perfect day,  Sun, sea and sand and just enough white fluffy clouds to give the perfect backdrop.

One of my favourite places to be is by the ocean,  it does my body, mind and soul so much good to just sit and enjoy the sounds, smell and energy of the ocean.

12 days under this southern sun at one of the most amazing and stunning beaches the east coast  has to offer has been the inspiration for my latest set of images which I have titled Sun, Sea & Sand...

Morning Walk 

These shots were taken early morning just as the sun was waking up,  I am so glad that I resisted the urge to stay snuggled up in bed and instead decided to head out for a morning stroll along the sand with my camera in hand.  I particularly love the last shot which I am going to call 'Morning walk'  I love the cloud detail and the soft tones.  It exudes that wonderful feeling of peace, calm and serenity that comes with daybreak.
A moment alone with our thoughts before we begin the day,  and what a way to begin our day, sand underfoot, a gentle breeze against the skin and the sound and feel of the waves as they caress our bare feet.
 I'm awake and ready for what the day holds.  

The shots below were taken at the opposite end of the day when the light is again just so beautiful,  another stroll along the beach as the sun is setting, I find myself in the right place at the right time to capturing some more beautiful shots of this amazing place.
