Sun, Sea & Sand

Ingredients for the perfect day,  Sun, sea and sand and just enough white fluffy clouds to give the perfect backdrop.

One of my favourite places to be is by the ocean,  it does my body, mind and soul so much good to just sit and enjoy the sounds, smell and energy of the ocean.

12 days under this southern sun at one of the most amazing and stunning beaches the east coast  has to offer has been the inspiration for my latest set of images which I have titled Sun, Sea & Sand...

Water, Oil & Light Assignment 3

A few weeks back in class we were given a topic to shoot called "cd cover".  I had a few ideas in my head, one of them being to shoot Water & Oil
Water & Oil can be a little unpredictable and a lot messy and because of the timeframe we have to shoot in class I decided to go with something that I had more control over and set up a still life composition.  You kinda know what you are getting with a still life.  (by the way,  turned out really nice).

Anyway this idea of shooting Water & Oil has always been in my head, so here I am with another assignment to do for my creative class and what better opportunity or motivation do I need to put my idea down on paper.
